MEMBERSHIP
DETAILS

ACTIVATION
We require member’s first and last name, phone number, and email address to activate a membership. Membership starts on the first booking.

RENEWAL
Setting up automatic renewal is a convenient option for everyone.

LATE ARRIVAL
A reservation arriving late has a domino effect on the bookings of our members. It is not fair to expect other clients who arrive on time to wait around, be rushed, or worse forced to leave without service.

A member arriving late will be offered a ‘streamlined’ service to keep the rest of the clients on schedule (will do what we can in the remaining time without making the next appointment wait). Arriving more than 10 minutes late is considered a cancel appointment.

Booked appointment can be rescheduled or cancelled without penalty up to 6 business hours prior to the appointment time.

NO-SHOWS
No-shows are hugely disruptive for the operation and costly for the business. Unfortunately many members assume not showing up for an appointment is not a big deal. A no-show in The Refined means:

• Another client who needed the service is deprived of the opportunity
• Reservation team having to re-arrange schedules, breaks, contacting clients…etc.

NO-SHOW CHARGES
A no-show for a scheduled appointment will forfeit one week of the remaining membership time.

MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD
We understand things happen- travel, family, medical…etc. A member unable to take advantage for his membership for a minimum of one month can request to add the unused month at the end of the 12 month term. Members can do this by emailing [email protected]

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
Membership can be cancelled by emailing [email protected] at least 30 business days before the next billing period.

WAIT LIST
In order to keep the program manageable, a cap on the membership is necessary. We are constrained by the size of our operation and the number of service providers. Once the cap is reached, interested clients are added to the wait list. Waiting time will vary based on the number of members renewing.

GRATUITIES
Gratuity is not included in the membership. It is a matter of personal discretion, dependent on the relationship you have with your groomist and your level of satisfaction of each service.
